Piotr Hepner

Piotr Hepner has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Piotr is currently serving as the Director of Systems Engineering at DataWalk since July 2021. Prior to this, they have held various positions at Objectivity Bespoke Software Specialists. From March 2018 till now, they worked as the Head of IT Delivery in the IoT sector, where they were responsible for the efficient delivery of digital IoT platforms in a multinational and multi-vendor environment. Before that, they served as the Delivery Center Director from January 2021 to June 2021, the Head of Site/Head of Software Development from February 2020 to December 2020, and the Head of Delivery/Tribe Master in the Retail Sector from February 2015 to March 2018. In these roles, they ensured exceptional delivery for a major global chain of apparel retail stores and created an efficient delivery environment for a team of 70 IT engineers. Additionally, they have experience as the Head of Projects and the Head of IT Operations, where they focused on executing projects based on agile and lean principles and managing the IT operations of the company. Before joining Objectivity, Piotr held positions at Comarch, where they worked as a Technical Point of Contact from May 2008 to April 2010 and as a Java/Oracle Developer from April 2007 to April 2010.

Piotr Hepner completed a 12-week advanced Intensive English Language Course at Holmes Institute in 2004. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Wroclaw from 1999 to 2006. In 2012, they attended the ICAN Institute where they studied Management for a year. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including Managing Successful Programmes Foundation from AXELOS Global Best Practice in January 2015, PRINCE2 Foundation from APMG-International in August 2014, Professional Scrum Master from Scrum.org in January 2012, ITIL v.3 SOA from the British Computer Society in January 2011, and ITIL v.3 Foundation from the British Computer Society in July 2010. Piotr also holds a Master's degree in Information Technology from the University of Wroclaw.
