Ernesto Rosales

Ernesto Rosales has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Ernesto currently serves as the Director of Operations of Cybersecurity at Data Warden S.A. de C.V. since July 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young Global Consulting Services from October 2018 to July 2020.

Before joining Ernst & Young, Ernesto held the position of CISO PRODUBAN MX (SANTANDER GLOBAL TECH) at Santander Global Tech (PRODUBAN SERVICIOS INFORMATICOS GENERALES, S.L.) for over a decade, from August 2007 to October 2018. Ernesto has also worked as the Manager of Network and Security Consulting at Axtel (Avantel) from February 2005 to August 2007.

Ernesto Rosales has entrepreneurial experience as well. Ernesto was the Managing Partner at Plus Secure from June 2004 to February 2005. Ernesto co-founded and led this venture.

Ernesto obtained a Master's degree in Systems Engineering - Planning from Instituto Politécnico Nacional, where they studied from 1982 to 1985. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the same institution, earning a degree in Communications and Electronics Engineering from 1977 to 1982.

In addition to their academic degrees, Ernesto Rosales has also obtained several certifications in the field of cybersecurity. Ernesto completed a course on Introduction to Cybersecurity Tools & Cyber Attacks offered by Coursera in November 2022. Furthermore, they received a certification as a Proofpoint Certified Insider Threat Specialist in April 2023.
