Cesar A. Hidalgo

Cesar A. Hidalgo has a wealth of work experience. From 2004 to 2019, they have held various roles at several different companies. Cesar A. began their career in 2004 as a Graduate Student at the University of Notre Dame. In 2007, they became a Graduate Student at CCNR-NEU and a Research Visitor at the Santa Fe Institute. In 2008, they joined Harvard University as an Adjunct Lecturer in Public Policy, Faculty Associate of the Center for International Development, and Research Fellow. In 2010, they became an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an ABC Career Development Professor at the MIT Media Lab. From 2013 to 2019, they held the roles of Chief Innovation Officer, Co-Founder, and Chief Executive Officer at Datawheel. In 2019, they became an ANITI Chair at Universit\u00e9 de Toulouse, an Honorary Professor at The University of Manchester, and a Visiting Professor at Harvard University.

Cesar A. Hidalgo completed a Bachelor's degree in Physics at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile from 1998 to 2003, and then a Lic. in Physics at the same university from 1998 to 2003. Cesar A. then went on to earn a PhD in Physics from the University of Notre Dame in 2008.
