About us:
Kathleen Rutishauser and Denise Flihan, the co-owners of Daughter for Hire LLC, built their business to provide a solution for the seniors in the Mohawk Valley and the Captial Region of New York State, who valued the idea of aging in place. Central to this focus, Kathleen and Denise identified a set of needs that the senior population almost universally had, that were critical to the seniors' ability to remain independent. Daughter for Hire begins with that end in mind. 

Our Mission
Daughter for Hire provides caring, compassionate, and dependable non-medical assistance to seniors.  Our focuses on assisting them with everyday living, thereby allowing them to remain independent for as long as they would like.

Why Us?
Daughter for Hire was founded with the appreciation that our family and friends, as they age, may need a little extra help in order to maintain their independence at home, in independent living, or in an assisted living facility.

Sometimes our families and friends are unable to provide the level or amount of assistance that our seniors may need and want. Wouldn't it be nice if you could have a "Daughter" who can help you when you need her?
