Katie Johns

Katie Johns has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Katie currently holds the position of Director of Operations at Dave Creek Media, where they also served as Project Management Team Lead and Project Manager. Prior to that, they worked as a Public Relations Apprentice at Sifted, assisting with administering digital development grants and providing social media strategy to small businesses. Katie also gained experience as a Social Media Intern at 2ND Baptist Church, where they led in physical and spiritual growth for the college ministry. In addition, they have worked as a freelance Social Media Consultant and Communications/Graphic Design Assistant, helping businesses improve their online engagements and profit. Katie's earlier work experience includes a role as a Lifeguard and Counselor at Camp War Eagle, where they prioritized the safety and well-being of children.

Katie Johns attended Van Buren High School from 2014 to 2017, where they were a College Prep/High Honors student. Katie then went on to study at the University of Central Arkansas from 2017 to 2021, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations, Communication, and Music Applied. In 2018, they obtained certifications in the Hootsuite Platform from Hootsuite and in Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR, and AED from the American Red Cross.
