Daniel Whitehead

Daniel Whitehead has a strong background in compliance and risk management. Daniel most recently served as the Director of Compliance at Dave, where they led the enterprise compliance management system and managed policies and programs related to risk and financial crimes. Prior to that, they were the VP and Chief Compliance Officer at Alkami Technology, where they built and scaled the compliance and risk management programs. Daniel also has experience as the SVP and Chief Compliance Officer at Exeter Finance, where they ensured compliance with various state and federal regulations. Before that, they worked at Citi as an SVP and Senior Compliance Officer, overseeing fair lending and banking practices. Overall, Daniel has extensive experience in managing compliance, regulatory affairs, and risk for financial institutions.

Daniel Whitehead has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Drake University. Daniel also holds a Bachelor of Liberal Studies (BLS) degree in Business and Communications from Iowa State University. In addition, they obtained the Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) certification from the American Bankers Association in 2008.
