Haiming Silvia Zhao

Haiming Silvia Zhao has a diverse and extensive work experience. Haiming Silvia currently holds the position of VP, Data at Dave, where they built a centralized data organization and supported the company's IPO through advancing the enterprise-wide data capability. Prior to their role at Dave, they were a Sr. Director, Data Science at Electronic Arts (EA), where they defined and advocated the ML/AI vision and led the central data science team. Haiming Silvia also worked at GE Oil & Gas as VP, Data Science and Engineering, Sr. Director, Data Science and Engineering, and Director, Data Science and Analytics. Before that, they were a Sr. Manager, Data Science and Analytics at LinkedIn, and a Manager, Business Analytics and Intelligence at HSBC. Haiming Silvia started their career as an Assistant Statistician at UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, an intern at Merck, and a Software Engineer at Sun Microsystems.

Haiming Silvia Zhao completed their MS in Statistics at UCLA in 2006. Haiming Silvia also holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Beihang University.
