Joe Yuan

Joe (Qizhong) Yuan is a highly experienced engineering professional with extensive expertise in mechanical analysis and finite element analysis (FEA). Currently serving as a Senior Member of Technical Staff - Structural at MDA, Joe previously held prominent roles at Turntide Technologies, Inmotive Inc., ABC Technologies, Persego, and Magna International. Throughout a career spanning over two decades, Joe has been instrumental in developing and improving various mechanical systems, including electric vehicle powertrains and vehicle components. Joe's proficiency in advanced analysis techniques and leadership in cross-functional teams has resulted in significant enhancements in product design and compliance with regulatory standards. Joe holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Memorial University, Newfoundland and Labrador, earned between 1996 and 1998.
