Catherine Hwang-Jin

Catherine Hwang-Jin is an experienced children's ministry leader and curriculum writer, currently serving as the Pastor of Kids Ministry at Mariners Church since August 2022 and as a Curriculum Writer for both David C Cook and Stuff You Can Use since 2022 and 2020, respectively. Previous roles include Children's Pastor at Bayside Church and Executive Children Ministry Pastor at New Life Church, where strategies to support young families and outreach-focused systems were developed. Catherine's earlier experience includes a decade-long tenure as New Business Development Director at URi Global and various roles in children's ministry, starting as an intern at New Hope Chapel. Catherine holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Talbot School of Theology and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Riverside.
