Lea Vaverchak

Lea Vaverchak is an accomplished freelance writer at David C. Cook since August 2012 and the founder of Girls For God, a Christian organization aimed at middle school girls, which began in August 2011. The organization focuses on developing a relationship with Jesus Christ through discussions on relevant issues and biblical study. Additionally, Vaverchak served as an elementary school teacher in the Washington County Public School System from July 2004 to June 2016. Vaverchak holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from Frostburg State University (2007-2010) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Shepherd University (2000-2004).
