Bobbi Gurney

Bobbi Gurney is an experienced education professional with a career spanning over three decades, primarily with the David Douglas School District since October 1990, serving as a substitute teacher for K-12. Bobbi has also been a member of the Discovery Education Network's Leadership Council from 2007 until April 2024, contributing to the Innovation & Strategy Team, and is recognized as a DEN STAR Educator within a professional learning network. Previous experience includes serving as the Site Administrator for East County at the University of Portland from September 1994 to August 2002, where Bobbi successfully advertised and recruited four cohorts, growing the program from nine initial students to full MEd cohorts of thirty. Bobbi holds a Master of Education (MEd) in Organizational Leadership from the University of Portland, earned between 1994 and 1996.
