Stephen Thomas

Stephen Thomas is a Clean Energy Manager at the David Suzuki Foundation, with a focus on climate solutions and energy policy engagements. Thomas has extensive experience as a Climate and Energy Policy Consultant, supporting organizations in Canada with impactful campaigns and strategic stakeholder engagement aimed at advancing climate justice. Previous roles include Energy Campaign Coordinator at the Ecology Action Centre, where Thomas led advocacy efforts in energy and climate change policy. Thomas has contributed to the development of community-focused wind energy projects with Scotian WindFields Inc. and SWEB Development Inc., and has a strong foundation in energy efficiency initiatives from prior engagements in government settings. Stephen Thomas holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Dalhousie University.
