Suzanne MacDonald

Suzanne MacDonald, P. Eng., PMP, serves as the Safety Manager for the Eastern Clean Energy Initiative at Nova Scotia Power since January 2015, focusing on the region's clean energy goals. Prior to this role, Suzanne MacDonald was involved in engineering and construction for hydro projects at NSP Capital Projects and held various positions at Nova Scotia Power, including Project Manager and Environmental Services Operations Manager. Suzanne MacDonald’s experience also includes roles at Resolute Forest Products, Neenah Paper, International Paper, Louisiana Pacific Corporation, and UPM-Kymmene Oyj. Suzanne MacDonald holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Engineering from Dalhousie University, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemistry from St. Francis Xavier University, and a 4th Class Power Engineer certification from Nova Scotia Community College.
