Elena Soboleva

Elena Soboleva has a diverse work experience in the art industry. Elena started their career with an internship at Christie's in 2008. Elena later worked as a gallery assistant at Jack Shainman Gallery from 2010 to 2012. From 2011 to 2014, they contributed as a freelance contributor to Art Market Monitor. Elena then joined Artsy, where they held various roles, including Collector Specialist & Gallery Insights Lead from 2012 to 2016, and later becoming the Founder of Artsy Projects and Lead Curator from 2016 to 2018. Currently, Elena is a part of David Zwirner as the Global Head of Online Sales, a position they have held since May 2021, after previously serving as the Director of Online Sales from 2018 to 2021.

Elena Soboleva pursued their education in a chronological manner. Starting from 2004 to 2008, they attended the University of Toronto - University of Trinity College, where they achieved a Magna Cum Laude H BA degree. Elena'sstudies at this institution focused on Economics and Art History. Following this, from 2009 to 2010, they continued their academic journey at the University of Toronto, earning a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Art History.
