Kamran Shahbaz

Kamran serves Deloitte Consulting’s financial services practice, assisting clients with strategic growth opportunities and global operational transformations. He is the Chief Strategy Officer of the Foundation for the Educational Development of Afghans (FEDA) and co-founder of Red X Coffee, a Denver-based coffee company that brings quality coffee to convenient locations, one truck at a time. He hopes that his business background will continue to fuel philanthropic causes dear to his heart. Kamran’s fondest memories at Davidson included mentoring first-years as a Hall Counselor, contributing to The Davidsonian as a political correspondent, serving as a tutor for Davidson’s first blind economics major, and immersing himself in research on political Islam and econometrics. Perhaps his most influential Davidson experience was a 5-month world tour of 11 countries throughout the Middle East and Asia that Davidson’s spiritual exploration grant funded. A political science and economics double major, Kamran graduated summa cum laude.
