Derek Bent

Derek Bent is a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience in the home construction and account management sectors. Currently serving as a New Home Counselor and General Sales Manager at Beazer Homes since February 2022, Derek is responsible for recruiting and training high-quality sales teams, providing coaching, and developing competitive strategies for community success. Prior to this role, Derek excelled as a Sales Consultant at Megatel Homes, where accomplishments included being named 2020 Sales Consultant of the Year and achieving significant sales milestones, totaling $57.4 million in 2021. Additional experience includes strategic account management positions at FLEETCOR, Sprint, American Express, Credit Acceptance, and UPS. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from Grand Valley State University, obtained in 2011.
