Alex Ayzin has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. From 2019 to the present, Alex has been serving as the Head of Cross-Functional Technology at Davidson Kempner Capital Management. Prior to this, Alex was the Head of Application Portfolio Management and Executive Director at ENSO Financial Analytics from 2013 to 2019. During this time, Alex played a crucial role in deploying information assets to drive business results and developed strategic roadmaps for technology and product initiatives.
Before joining ENSO, Alex held various positions at Allianz Global Investors from 2004 to 2013, including Application Development Manager, Team Lead, and Sr. Enterprise Developer. In these roles, Alex led the development of portfolio management, investment research platforms, and applications for various asset classes.
Additionally, Alex worked at Advent Intermodal Solutions LLC as a Team Lead, Senior Software Developer, and Consultant from 2002 to 2004. Here, Alex was responsible for overseeing the development of the Terminal Management System (TMS), which facilitated the business management of marine shipping terminals.
Prior to Advent Intermodal Solutions, Alex worked at AIG as a Sr. Software Developer and Consultant from 1998 to 2002. In this role, Alex led the development of the Policy Workbench, a client-server application that allowed secure access, update, and comparison of existing policies for various types of insurances.
Alex's earlier experience includes a role as a Technical Specialist II at UBS from 1997 to 1998, where Alex participated in the development of the Emergency Contact System (ECS).

Alex Ayzin completed their Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering from Moscow State University of Transport (MIIT) in 2003. Alex then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MS) in Executive Management of Technology (eMOT) in Financial Services from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering, graduating in 2012. In July 2013, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI.
