Eric Sterling has extensive experience in the field of radar systems engineering. Eric started their career in 1994 as a Telemetry Engineer at New Technology, where they worked until 1995. After that, they joined Teledyne Brown Engineering in 1995 and held roles as a GBR-P Radar Software Engineer and later as an NMD Test & Evaluation Engineer until 1999. Following this, they moved to Lockheed Martin and worked as a Senior Software Applications Engineer for a year. In 2000, Eric returned to Teledyne Brown Engineering as the Lead SBX & GBR-P Radar Engineer, where they remained until 2006. Since then, Eric has been working at Davidson Technologies Inc., initially as the GMD Ground Segment Radar Focal and later as the SBX IV&V Technical Lead. Currently, they hold the position of Senior AN/TPY-2 Radar Systems Engineer.
Eric Sterling attended The University of Alabama in Huntsville from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering. Following that, from 1996 to 1997, they returned to The University of Alabama in Huntsville to study Radar Systems. In 2007, Eric pursued further education at the same university and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Systems Engineering, completing their studies in 2010.
