Paul Schurtz

Paul Schurtz has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Paul started their career in 1986 as a Sr Armor Crewman in the US Army. In 2003, they worked as a Customer Service Rep at IBM's Avaya Help Desk before leaving to pursue higher education. Paul then joined Dish Network in 2005, where they served as a Help Desk Coordinator and later as a Network Engineer until 2010. At HP Enterprise Services, they worked as a Network Engineer from 2010 to 2014, and then as a Business Services Manager for Networks. Following their tenure at HP, they worked at Verizon Business as a Network Engineer for a short period from 2014 to 2015. Currently, Paul is working as an Enterprise Network Design Engineer at Davidson Technologies Inc., where they are responsible for designing, configuring, installing, testing, and troubleshooting network systems.

Paul Schurtz earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance/Accounting from Adams State University from 1997 to 1999. Paul then pursued further education and completed a Master of Science in Computer Information Technology (MSCIT) with a focus on Systems Engineering/Executive Info Tech from Regis University from 2004 to 2010. In 2002 and 2003, they attended the Community College of Denver (CCD) and studied Cisco Networking Academy, although no specific degree was mentioned for this period. Additionally, Paul obtained the Security+ certification from CompTIA in January 2015.
