Richard Nelson

Richard Nelson is a seasoned construction professional with extensive experience in project management and engineering. Currently serving as the Special Projects Manager at Davidsons Homes since July 2024, Richard oversees commercial build and infrastructure projects, focusing on design management and stakeholder engagement. Prior to this role, Richard held multiple positions at Winvic Construction Ltd, including Site Manager, responsible for significant projects such as a £90m build-to-rent scheme and a £35m hotel development. With a solid engineering foundation, Richard also worked as a Senior Engineer at Expanded and Carillion, where responsibilities included overseeing QA compliance and project management for high-profile developments. Richard’s academic background includes a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Civil Engineering from Loughborough University.
