Austin Duncan has a diverse and extensive work experience. Austin is currently working at I MEF Information Group as an Information Warfare Coordinator. Austin is also a Non-Resident Fellow at the Brute Krulak Center for Innovation and Future Warfare. In addition, they serve as an Adjunct Faculty (EWS Instructor) at Davis Defense Group, Inc.

From 2022 to 2023, Austin worked at I Marine Expeditionary Force as Deputy G-9, where they focused on experimentation, capabilities development, and concept development. Austin also coordinated operations and exercise design priorities.

Before that, from 2020 to 2022, Austin served as an Intelligence Officer in the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, specializing in reconnaissance, signals intelligence, counterintelligence, and geospatial intelligence.

Prior to that, Austin worked as a Speechwriter to the Commandant of the Marine Corps from 2018 to 2020, writing speeches for General Robert B. Neller and General David H. Berger.

In 2017, Austin was a student at Marine Corps University, Command & Staff College, where they received a Master of Military Studies and a Graduate Certificate in Future Concept Development.

Austin's career in the United States Marine Corps began in 2010, where they served as an Intelligence Officer and later as a Company Commander at 3rd Battalion, 6th Marines. During their deployments, they managed intelligence operations and supported infantry companies in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Inherent Resolve.

Austin's educational background includes a Master of Science in Information Warfare Systems Engineering and a Master of Business Administration in Information Systems Management from the Naval Postgraduate School. Austin graduated with distinction and was selected by the Commandant's Career-Level Education Board for this opportunity.

Austin Duncan's education history begins in 2003 when they attended the United States Naval Academy, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. Austin completed their undergraduate studies in 2007. In 2012, they enrolled at the Naval Postgraduate School and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Information Systems Management. Additionally, during the same period, they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Information Warfare Systems Engineering. These degrees were completed in 2014. In 2017, Austin Duncan attended Marine Corps University, where they pursued a Master of Military Studies (M.M.S.) degree, which they completed in 2018.
