Christopher Marvin has had a diverse work experience in the military and defense industry. Christopher began their career in 2007 as a Maintenance Officer for the Marine Air Traffic Control (MATC) Technician Schoolhouse, where they supervised instructors, operations, and training curriculum for various courses. Christopher then served as a Training Officer for the MATC, responsible for training and certifying entry-level and career-progression Marines in different Military Occupational Specialties (MOS). In 2015, Christopher became the Regional Chief Instructor for the Marine Corps' College of Distance Education and Training (CDET), where they provided leadership seminars to Marines in their region and conducted program outreach.

Christopher Marvin earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Resource and Technology Management from Troy University. Christopher studied at the university from 2011 to 2014.
