Jeff Hauser

Regional Chief Instructor - Central Region at Davis Defense Group

Jeff Hauser has a diverse work experience, primarily in the field of intelligence and education. Jeff started their career as a Major in the US Joint Forces Command, where they served as an Intelligence Watch Team Leader and later as an Exercise Planner. Jeff then moved on to various positions within the 1st Marine Division, including Deputy G-2 and Assistant Chief of Staff G-2. In these roles, they were responsible for planning, collecting, analyzing, and disseminating intelligence. Jeff also worked at the 5th Marines, 1st Marine Division, as the S-2, serving as the primary intelligence adviser. Hauser then joined the United States Africa Command, where they worked in various billets within Intelligence and Knowledge Development. Jeff stood up the initial Intelligence Watch section, developed Intelligence Support to Targeting, and worked as Deputy Branch Chief for Intelligence Plans. Continuing their career, Hauser worked at the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing as the Deputy G-2, overseeing intelligence, counterintelligence, and security programs. Jeff also served as the Senior Military Instructor at Dallas ISD's MCJROTC program, training and teaching cadets in leadership and civics. Hauser was then appointed as the Dean of Leadership at International Leadership of Texas, before joining Davis Defense Group, Inc. Here they served as the Regional Chief Instructor for the Marine Corps Command and Staff College Distance Education Program, managing program management and graduate education for over 180 students. Currently, they hold the position of Professor at the Naval War College - Distance Education Program.

Jeff Hauser earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Religious Studies from Oregon State University in the years 1988-1991. Following that, they completed a Diploma in Command Control Systems Course in 1998-1999, and a Command and Staff Seminar Course at Naval War College from 1999-2001, focusing on Military Command and Staff. In 2002, they obtained a Diploma in Military Joint Operations Planning and Strategy from Joint Forces Staff College. Jeff pursued further education in Diplomacy and International Conflict Resolution, earning an MA degree from Norwich University in 2003-2004. In 2011-2012, they attended U.S. Air War College, where they obtained a Diploma in Military and Strategic Leadership. Lastly, Jeff Hauser completed their Doctor of Education (EdD) in Education Leadership from Liberty University during the years 2013-2015.
