Rufino Gomez

Regional Chief Instructor Command And Staff College at Davis Defense Group

Rufino Gomez began their work experience in 1995 as a Communications Officer in the United States Marine Corps. Rufino later transitioned to become the Deputy G6 from July 2011 to May 2013. In 2000, Gomez worked as an Amphibious Communication Planner for NATO until 2003. From 2008 to 2011, they served as the J6 Plans and Ops for the United States Marine Corps Forces Central Command. Gomez then joined III MEF in 2013, where they held the position of AC/S G6 from May to September and later became the Division Inspector from May 2014 to June 2015. Most recently, since 2015, they have been employed as the Regional Chief Instructor Command and Staff College at Davis Defense Group, Inc.

Rufino Gomez attended The University of Texas at San Antonio from 1992 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Geography. In addition to their degree, they also obtained two additional certifications. In March 2014, they received a Security+ certification from CompTIA, and in May 2012, they obtained a GIAC Security Leadership (GSLC) certification from the SANS Institute.
