Deborah Castillo, CPTD®, has a diverse and extensive work experience in talent development and learning. Deborah started their career as a Consultant and Facilitator, providing training on communication, leadership, and management skills. Later, they joined Stewart Title as a Program Manager, where they designed and implemented a successful management training program and coordinated company-wide performance management processes. After that, Deborah joined Hines as the Global Director of Learning and Development, where they led the learning function for a global real estate firm, aligning learning with strategic priorities, managing a dispersed team, and implementing solutions for skill and knowledge gaps. Currently, they are working as the Director of Talent Development at Davis Development, where they are responsible for establishing the Talent Development function, building a learning culture, and identifying efficiencies for future growth.

Deborah Castillo, CPTD®, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Kansas State University. Deborah also obtained a Master of Arts degree in Higher Education & Student Affairs from Bowling Green State University. In addition to their formal education, Deborah has achieved several certifications, including the Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD), formerly known as CPLP, from ATD CI - The ATD Certification Institute in November 2020. Deborah is also a Gallup Strengths Coach, having received their certification from Gallup in July 2017. Furthermore, Deborah has completed the Prosci Change Management Process certification from Prosci and the Change Management Learning Center in October 2014. Lastly, Deborah obtained the DDI Learning Systems certification from DDI | Development Dimensions International in 2007.
