Rich Kanarski

Rich Kanarski is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the plastics and engineering sectors. Currently serving as Division Chairman for the Extrusion Division at SPE: Inspiring Plastics Professionals since 2015, Rich provides leadership and governance to enhance Board effectiveness. In parallel, Rich holds multiple roles within the SPE, focusing on advocating for the interests of the Extrusion Division. At Davis-Standard, Rich has progressed from Senior Process Engineer to Manager of Technical Products Management, specializing in flexible packaging applications. Previous roles include Sales Engineer and Process Engineer at Coperion, where Rich supported technical sales and process development, and a Telecommunications Sales Consultant at ATT, Inc. Rich's early career featured collaborative research as an Associate Research Scientist at NJIT, where contributions to biofuel synthesis were presented to the National Science Foundation. Rich holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology.
