Derek Schoonover

Derek Schoonover is an accomplished leader in digital transformation and healthcare, currently serving as Group VP Digital Transformation at DaVita Kidney Care since November 2011, with previous roles including VP Digital Integrated Care and VP Physician Experience. In addition to their corporate roles, Derek serves as Board Chair of the Colorado Dream Foundation, Treasurer for the DaVita Giving Foundation, and as a member of the Board of Directors for the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce. Prior experience includes leadership positions at McKesson, GE Healthcare, and Accenture, where Derek demonstrated success in business development, operational turnaround, and strategic market planning, contributing to significant revenue growth and enhanced customer satisfaction. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
