Scott Gruber

Scott Gruber has extensive legal experience, serving as Group General Counsel at DaVita Kidney Care from December 2018 to October 2021, where responsibilities included corporate counsel and legal oversight. Prior to that, Scott held various leadership roles at Caliber Midstream, including EVP, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, managing the strategy and direction for a BlackRock portfolio midstream company as its first general counsel. At Aspect Energy, from August 2013 to August 2015, Scott provided counsel on corporate strategy and legal issues, particularly in mergers and acquisitions and risk management. Earlier positions include Senior Counsel roles at Clear Channel Outdoor and Squire Patton Boggs, focusing on legal risk, corporate finance, and governance. Scott holds both an MBA and Juris Doctorate from Arizona State University’s W. P. Carey School of Business and Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, respectively.
