Usama A. Qureshi's work experience begins in 2002 as a Sub Lieutenant in the Pakistan Navy, where they served until 2005. Usama A. then joined TCS Pvt Limited in 2009, starting as a Senior Software Engineer and later becoming an Assistant Manager of Systems Development & Deployment. In 2012, they transitioned to a role as Manager of Systems & Projects in the PrintShop division of TCS Pty Limited.

In 2016, Usama joined Abudawood Pakistan as a Manager of Business Solutions, where they managed and led software-based IT initiatives and served as an SAP MM Business Process Expert and Internal Consultant. Usama A. played a role in document end-user requirements, developed design documents, and implemented project plans. Usama also coordinated with external vendors for outsourced software projects.

From 2017 to 2019, Usama worked at Access Group as a Business Analysis Manager, where they were responsible for managing and leading software-based IT initiatives to improve systems and processes through automation.

In 2019, Usama joined NCR Corporation as a Regional Manager of Projects, overseeing multiple regional projects for development and client delivery. Usama A. was also responsible for team management, project management, security implementation, and policy/procedural development.

Most recently, since 2021, Usama has been working as the Head of Engineering at Dawaai.

Usama A. Qureshi completed an Intermediate degree in Pre-Engineering from Hamdard University in the year 2002. Following that, they attended the Pakistan Naval Academy from 2003 to 2005, where they pursued Marine Sciences. Usama A. then enrolled at the University of Karachi and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from 2005 to 2008. In March 2015, Usama A. Qureshi obtained a certification in Certified ISO-27001:2013 Internal Auditor, although the institution providing the certification was not specified.
