Angus Eason

Angus Eason started their professional career in 2018 as a Delivery Expert at Dominoes Pizza, where they gained valuable teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment. In 2019, they worked as a Python Developer at Orora Packaging Solutions, where they developed a Python program to optimize stock product usage, clearing up to 19,000 units of stock per month. In 2020, they interned as a Mechatronics Engineering Intern at FTEK LTD, where they focused on research and development of a fully automated greenhouse robot and created the control system, including a finite state machine, for a semi-automated sprayer. In the same year, they also worked as a Mathematics Tutor at Rochester and Rutherford Hall. In 2021, Angus worked as a Junior Mechanical Engineer at Onfarm Solutions for a brief period and later became a Tutor at the University of Canterbury. Currently, they serve as an Avionics Engineer at Dawn Aerospace, contributing to the development and implementation of high-frequency datalogging printed circuit boards and the finite state machine for the engine control unit of the Mk-II Aurora Spaceplane.
