René Desautels

René Desautels is an experienced video game programming educator and software engineer with a strong background in technology and project management. Currently serving as a Unity C# Video Game Programming Teacher at Dawson College since September 2016, René has previously held positions as a Senior Software Engineer at The Multiplayer Guys and a Senior Programmer/Database Administrator at SuccessFinder, a technology company in Montreal focused on human resources solutions. Prior experience includes a role as Lead Game Programmer at DTI Software, where René managed the development of over 20 in-flight entertainment games utilizing C++. Academic qualifications include an Attestation in Project Management from McGill University and a DEC in Informatique from Bois-De-Boulogne.
