Joshua Awe

Joshua Awe is a Mechanical Engineer currently employed at Daxsonics Ultrasound Inc. since January 2023. Previously, Joshua worked as a Mechanical Engineer-In-Training at Sensor Technology Ltd. in Canada from October 2020 to November 2022, where the focus was on designing hydrophones and underwater acoustic transducers. Joshua's experience also includes an engineering internship at the Centre for Ocean Ventures and Entrepreneurship (COVE) and a role as a Marker for Engineering Design I at Dalhousie University. Additional contributions were made as a Design Project Student with Welaptega, an Undergraduate Research Intern at the Advanced Control and Mechatronics Lab, and an Engineering Co-op Student at Northern Pulp Nova Scotia Corporation. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Dalhousie University, with studies completed from 2015 to 2020, and graduated from The American International School of Muscat in 2015.
