Nicholas Campbell

Nicholas Campbell currently serves as an Ultrasound Scientist at Daxsonics Ultrasound Inc. since June 2024, after progressing from the role of Junior Research Engineer at Daxsonics Ultrasound from January 2017 to September 2018. Nicholas began involvement in the field as a Coop Student at Nova Scotia Health Authority in late 2015 and earlier at Daxsonics Ultrasound in 2015, focusing on ultrasound transducer assembly and graphical user interface development using Python and MySQL. Nicholas’s educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical/Medical Engineering obtained from Dalhousie University in June 2024 and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering earned in 2017 from the same institution. Additionally, experience as a Research Assistant at Dalhousie University was gained in the summer of 2014.
