Sishir Mokkapati

Sishir Mokkapati has extensive work experience in corporate development, business development, and mergers & acquisitions. Sishir is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Day One Biopharmaceuticals. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President, Head Corporate and Business Development at Cerevel Therapeutics, LLC from September 2020 to December 2022.

Before joining Cerevel Therapeutics, LLC, Mokkapati worked at Bayer for over a decade, where they held multiple roles in the mergers & acquisitions department. Sishir served as Vice President, Mergers & Acquisitions from August 2018 to September 2020 and from October 2015 to July 2018. Prior to that, they held the position of Director, Mergers & Acquisitions from December 2012 to October 2015 and Senior Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions from November 2010 to December 2012. Sishir also worked as the Manager, Corporate Development Medrad from January 2008 to November 2010.

Mokkapati's earlier work experience includes serving as the Director of Corporate Development at Ansaldo STS, Union Switch & Signal from April 2005 to January 2008. Sishir started their career at National City Bank as an Assistant Vice President, Fixed Income Trading from March 2004 to April 2005. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Trader, Fixed Income Trading at Federated Investors from September 1997 to February 2004.

Sishir Mokkapati completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business in the years 1993 to 1997. Sishir then pursued further education at Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance and Strategy from 2003 to 2006.
