Mohamad Sater began their career in 2007 as a Research Assistant at the American University of Beirut. In 2015, they became a Research Affiliate at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, and also a Visiting Scientist and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. In 2018, they were appointed Director of Computational Biology at Day Zero Diagnostics, Inc.
Mohamad Sater's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biology from the American University of Beirut, which they obtained between 2004 and 2006. Mohamad then went on to earn a Master of Science (MSc) in Microbiology from the University of Basel in 2009-2011, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Bioinformatics from the same university in 2011-2015. Mohamad is currently enrolled at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and is also affiliated with the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute.
