Emily Michaels

Emily Michaels is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business development and research within various industries. Currently serving as the Director of Business Development at Day & Zimmermann since March 2022, Emily previously held multiple roles at Milliken & Company from June 2004 to March 2022, including Research Manager in the Government and Defense Center of Excellence, Development Manager in the Chemical Division, and Senior Research and Development Chemist. Earlier experience includes a Post Doctoral appointment at Sandia National Laboratories and a Development Chemist position at BF Goodrich. Emily Michaels earned a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from Clemson University (1998-2003) and holds a BS in Chemistry from Saint Mary's College (1992-1996).
