Ronnie Burgess

Ronnie Burgess has a wide range of work experience in various engineering and management roles. Ronnie started their career in 1997 at Cessna Aircraft Company as a Group Leader/Design Engineer in Interior Engineering. Ronnie then took on roles as a Six Sigma Black Belt, Process Leader in Supply Management, and Supervisor in Procurement Specialist before leaving in 2010.

Following that, Burgess worked at UTC Aerospace Systems/Goodrich Cabin Systems as an Engineering Manager and later as a Manager in Manufacturing Engineering & Tooling.

Ronnie then joined The Coleman Company, Inc. as the Manager of Global Design Services, overseeing service groups in the Engineering department across multiple locations.

Burgess also served as the Engineering Manager at RedGuard, leading the engineering department's activities and managing third-party engineering services.

Ronnie'smost recent position was as a Project Engineer Lead at Ducommun Incorporated, where they were responsible for the MRB/Scrap/Rework process and later became the Manager for Engineering Design and Planning. Currently, they are working as a Lead Engineer at Day & Zimmermann.

Ronnie Burgess earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University between 1992 and 1997. In 2002 to 2004, they attended Friends University where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Business. Additionally, Ronnie obtained certifications as a Certified Lean Practitioner from Goodrich (UTC Aerospace Systems) in June 2012, and as a Certified Six Sigma DFSS Black Belt from Textron in April 2006.
