Mustafa Khan has a wealth of experience in the events and community space. Mustafa began their career in 2003 as a student at Carnegie Mellon University. In 2008, they joined Facebook as a Marketing & Operations Specialist. In 2013, they started their own company, Mustafa Productions, as an Events & Marketing Consultant. In 2014, they founded Daybreaker SF as Lead Event Producer. In 2016, they joined SoFi as a Community Manager. In 2018, they became Head of Events & Community at Plato, where they collaborated with Marketing, Design, & Sales to produce 2020's largest virtual summit for engineering leaders and organized an event series of 20+ virtual & in-person executive dinners in 2019 & 2020 for guests including the CTOs of Reddit, Stripe, Stitch Fix, Brex, and more. In 2021, they joined Village Global as Director of Events and Community and Events and Community Manager.
Mustafa Khan obtained their Bachelor of Science in Decision Science from Carnegie Mellon University from 2003 to 2007. Mustafa then went on to earn their Master of Science in Management from the same university from 2007 to 2008. Mustafa also obtained a M.S. in Management from Delft University of Technology in 2008. In 2017, they obtained a Launch Event Coordinator Exam from Happily.
