Duston Santana is the current Sales Director at DaySmart Software. Duston has held this position for 15 years and 8 months. Prior to this, they were a Sales Manager and Sales Consultant - Team Leader at the company. Duston is very hands-on and transparent individual with an outstanding ability to coach, train, nurture, and motivate individuals. Duston has overseen a sales team (15+) within the organization in various processes while collectively working with them to drive rapid expansion and growth. Duston has also met all agreed upon sales team metrics and identified talented individuals for future development and success. In addition, they have established sales best practices for training and sales development programs, as well as trained new hires in negotiations. Duston has also established the "Pain Selling Process" while growing revenue with various add-ons, upsells, and payment processing attachment. Furthermore, they have overseen the sales organization in various processes as a Player/Coach, planned and assisted in the hiring and training of new Sales Consultants, and implemented sales best practices operations. Duston has also directed and coordinated all sales activities within our sales process, handled and resolved customer complaints, and advised sales team members on various setups and procedures. Additionally, they have assisted the Executive Team in various business opportunities and enhancements. Most recently, they have been a Software Sales team leader assisting team in hitting measurable metrics. Duston has also been a Sales and Marketing Consultant for four computer software products: Salon Iris Software, Orchid Medical Spa Software, 123Pet Software, InkBook Software. In this role, they were responsible for initiating and closing sales for a leading software supplier of POS Solutions. Duston also sold service renewals and computer software subscriptions while expanding the company’s customer base. Additionally, they trained and mentored new sales consultants while maintaining a high level of profitability.

Duston Santana graduated from Western Michigan University in 2005 with a Bachelor Degree of Business Administration. While at WMU, Duston was on the Academic Dean’s List and received the Student Employment Award. Duston was also a nominee for Employee of the Year and a recipient of the School of Public Affairs Scholarship. In their spare time, Duston enjoyed playing intramural sports.
