Doug Atkinson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in acquisition and engineering roles within the aerospace sector. Currently, Doug serves as a Senior Associate at Dayton Aerospace, where consulting services are provided across the weapon system life cycle. Prior to this, Doug worked at Boeing as an Acquisition Engagement Liaison and as a System Architect at Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI). Doug's career spans several leadership positions at the Air Force Research Laboratory and a long tenure with the United States Air Force, including roles such as Director of Engineering for multiple directorates and Chief Avionics/Chief Systems Engineer for the Global Hawk program. Doug holds a Master's degree in Management Science from the University of Dayton and a Master's degree in National Security Studies from the National Defense University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Virginia Tech.
