Joni Urban

Joni Urban, MBA, currently serves in Patient Access at Kettering Health since April 2023. With extensive experience in healthcare, Joni managed a 24/7 live-in care situation for elderly parents from 2013 to 2022, overseeing legal, financial, transportation, and psychosocial needs. Previous roles include Project Lead in Sales Effectiveness and Change Management at CIGNA Healthcare, where Joni facilitated the integration of small group sales teams and developed training programs. As AVP at Great-West Healthcare, Joni created and managed a new business unit within sales support, focusing on training for a substantial sales force. Joni has also held positions as Product Consultant at Aetna and Director at CIGNA, leading cross-functional projects in major healthcare organizations. Educated at USC Marshall School of Business with an MBA in Healthcare Advisory Services and a BA in Psychology from UCLA, Joni combines business acumen with a commitment to improving healthcare access and quality.
