Punita Lal is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in board governance and advisory roles across various industries. Currently serving as an Independent Board Member at DBS Bank and Cipla, where Punita also chairs the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, Punita has held significant positions at companies such as Carlsberg Group, CEAT Limited, and Airtel Payments Bank. As a Governing Council Member of The Vedica Scholars Programme for Women, Punita is dedicated to empowering women in their careers. A past independent board member of Lifestyle International Pvt Ltd and Entertainment Network India Ltd, Punita has also contributed advisory expertise to multiple sectors through 8ty8 Solutions. Punita holds an MBA in Marketing and Behavioural Sciences from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a BA in Economics from St. Stephen's College, Delhi.
