Sophia Yu

Sophia Yu has extensive experience in the banking sector, currently serving as Executive Director and Head of Digital Business Development in the Institutional Banking Group at DBS Bank since January 2015. Prior to this role, Sophia held the position of Executive Director and District Head within the same group at DBS Bank. Sophia's experience also includes positions at Standard Chartered Bank, where roles encompassed Head of Acquisition for Digital and Portfolio Management and Head of Sales for SME Banking, from September 2011 to January 2015. Earlier in their career, Sophia worked at HSBC in various senior roles, including Senior Manager for Greater China Country Strategy and Senior Vice President for Business Banking within the Commercial Banking division, spanning from January 2006 to September 2011. Sophia holds a Master's degree in Comparative Social Policy from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor's degree with First Class Honours in Journalism and Communications from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
