Lukas Schmid has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Lukas started their career as an apprentice in the logistics industry, where they learned about freight shipping and handling, supply chain management, and customer communication. Later, Lukas worked as an Inside Sales Specialist at Rail Cargo Group, where they were responsible for various tasks including acquisition, cost calculations, customer support, and complaint management. Lukas then joined Netigate as a Technical Project Manager and Customer Success representative, delivering customized solutions and providing technical advice and support to clients. Lukas also completed a training program at the School of Applied Technology (SALT) to become a Full Stack JavaScript Developer, gaining proficiency in technologies such as JavaScript, Node, React, HTML5, CSS3, and databases like MongoDB and PostgresQL. Currently, they are working as a Software Developer at DBT, utilizing advanced technologies to develop internal systems, customer applications, and webpages.
