Rein van Zuuren

Rein van Zuuren is an experienced professional in the field of acoustics and environmental science, currently serving as an acoustic advisor at dBvision since July 2015, focusing on noise mitigation for railway environments in collaboration with the municipality of Rotterdam. Previously, from February to October 2014, Rein worked as a routing officer at the municipality of Rotterdam, enhancing waste collection routes. From 2007 to December 2013, Rein held roles including sound advisor and historical soil researcher, where responsibilities included creating acoustic models, performing calculations, and drafting advisory reports for various projects, as well as conducting archival research on historical business activities related to soil contamination risks. Rein began the career as a data manager, entering data into the Rotterdam Soil Information System (ROBIS). Rein holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from Hogeschool Delft, obtained between 1998 and 2002.
