Panagiotis Sourtzinos

Panagiotis Sourtzinos is an experienced data scientist with a strong background in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist at DBX Commodities since July 2023, Panagiotis previously held the position of Data & ML Lead at Chronicles Health, where responsibilities included developing digital biomarkers for Inflammatory Bowel Disease using unobtrusive sensors. Panagiotis has demonstrated expertise in emotion recognition as a Senior Data Scientist at Feel Therapeutics and co-founded Actonbit, a SaaS startup focused on Big Data and user behavior analysis. With a foundational role at Legion Limited, Panagiotis contributed to intelligent agent software for property valuation and pedestrian behavior prediction. Additional experience includes consulting roles in game development, computer vision, financial transaction systems, and serving as a Sergeant in the Hellenic Army. Panagiotis holds a PhD in Computer Vision & Artificial Intelligence from Kingston University, complemented by multiple degrees in related fields from esteemed institutions.
