Ilinca Georgescu

Ilinca Georgescu is a seasoned professional in the fields of design and education, currently serving as a Mentor at lablab.ai and as a UX/UI Teacher and Bootcamp Mentor at Memorisely since April 2023. With experience as a Senior Product Designer at DC Thomson, Ilinca has successfully led design initiatives for local Scottish newspaper brands, optimizing user experience and managing design systems within a six-month period of promotion. Prior to this role, Ilinca worked at various companies from December 2018 to November 2022 as a Product Designer and was the Architect & Founder of Design Compound, contributing to the design landscape since 2018. Ilinca holds multiple degrees in architecture and design, including a Postgraduate Diploma from the University of Westminster and a UX Design Bootcamp certification from BrainStation.
