Devon Kennedy

Named as President of Business Development in 2018, Devon is charged with managing key relationships for our production brands. Born and raised in Oregon, he attended the University of Oregon and has over 25 years of industry experience, mostly in nursery management. He started his career managing a large bareroot nursery in Oregon and has also managed nursery operations in Oklahoma and Maryland prior to joining the team as the President of Schwope Brothers Tree Farms in 2015. A long-time passionate and well-known industry expert, one of Devon’s greatest accomplishments is being one of the first to export bareroot trees to China, a market that did not previously exist.
