Ernest Montllo

Ernest Montllo has extensive experience in hardware development, specifically in the field of servo drives. Ernest has held roles as a Hardware Lead at Novanta Inc. from 2019 to 2022 and at dcbel since 2022.

Before joining Novanta Inc., Ernest worked at Ingenia Motion Control as an R&D Hardware Manager for eight years. In this role, they led a team in developing high-performance servo drives, focusing on electronics, mechanics, and EMI tests for certifications. During their time there, the company experienced significant technological and market growth.

Ernest also has experience as a Technical Director for Fuel Cell projects at H2Genera Fuel Cell Projects, where they developed simulation tools for Combined Heat and Power plants based on Molten Carbonate Fuel Cell technology. Prior to that, they worked at Vallfirest - The Wildfire Company as an R&D Electronics Engineer, specializing in advanced sensors for fire detection.

Starting their career at LUXIONA, Ernest served as an R&D Electronics Engineer, focusing on the development of electronic products for LED lighting technology. Ernest worked on power supplies, regulators, and controllers using various communication interfaces.
