Paul Filion

Paul Filion has been working in the tech industry since 2004. Paul began their career at the Department of National Defence as an Operations Officer (Naval Reserves) where they completed Basic Officer Training Camp (BOTC) and Naval Environment Training Programs (NETP-O). Paul then went on to work at Genetec as a Senior Software Developer (DevOps) - Stratocast, a Software Development Team Lead - Mission Control, a C# / .net Software Developer - Stratocast/Mission Control, and a Lead iOS/iPadOS app Developer. Most recently, they began working at dcbel as a Senior Azure DevOps Developer, responsible for architecting, deploying, and maintaining the staging and production environments and tenants in Azure. Paul is also involved in monitoring and optimizing cloud based infrastructure costs, developing and designing deployment pipelines and devops tools for multiple teams.

Paul Filion holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from McGill University and an International Baccalaureate in Pure & Applied Sciences with a focus on Natural Sciences from Champlain College, Saint-Lambert.
